After my slash dot many have asked about the cost and the amount of time I spendt building it.

I have not included the price of the harddrives, power supplies and Motherboards.

The freebies are things I have scavenged from old thrashed hardware/electronics.

As for the amount of time I have spent:

• Figuring out an easy way to build the servers

• Drawing up blue prints

• Machining the parts

• Building the servers

• Fitting the hardware

• Installing software

I have no idea, its alot more then 100hrs, but I never "punched in" as modding is more or less a hobby for me and I have learned a lot from this project.
